Children are always welcome at Bethel United Methodist Church! We believe children are an important part of our church family, and we are committed to helping them know God, grow in faith, and discover how they can serve others.
During worship, children are invited to come forward for a special Children’s Time with the pastor. Afterward, they may go to the second floor for Sunday school, where our caring teachers lead them in Bible stories, activities, and lessons about God’s love.
Children are also invited to receive Holy Communion with our church family on the first Sunday of every month. They have opportunities to participate in worship by serving as acolytes and lighting the altar candles.
Throughout the year, we offer other special opportunities for children, including Vacation Bible School in July and a Christmas program featuring songs and skits during worship.
At Bethel, we want every child to feel welcomed, loved, and valued as they learn more about God and grow as followers of Jesus Christ.
