Women’s Groups and Activities
All women are invited to connect, grow in faith, and serve alongside one another through the women’s ministries at Bethel UMC. Our groups offer welcoming places to build friendships, encourage one another, deepen our relationship with God, and make a difference in our church and community.
Bethel currently offers two women’s groups: United Women in Faith (UWF) and Morning Glory. Whether you are a longtime member or visiting for the first time, there is a place for you. Come share in faith, fellowship, service, and fun!

The United Women of Faith meets on select second Wednesday afternoons. We are a fellowship of
women of all ages who gather to share God’s word, hear from local speakers, support mission work
including working with Midwest Missions, and enjoy one another’s company. We also plan special
activities for our church and community, including a June tea/luncheon, senior/community lunches
during select months, mission work for Operation Christmas Child, and a December
Christmas party for seniors.
Our purpose is to provide and nurture an environment where women can grow in faith, find support,
and serve together, reflecting Christ’s love in their homes, church community, and the world.
All women are welcome to attend our meetings, the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30, in the
church. A brief business meeting is held, followed by a speaker of interest, and always concludes with a time of food and fellowship for everyone to enjoy, generally concluding around 3:30.

Morning Glory is a fun and welcoming women’s group that gathers every Tuesday morning for breakfast, conversation, and fellowship. Members also enjoy outings together, support Bethel’s ministries, and participate in mission work that serves others.
Morning Glory offers a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, share life, and reflect Christ’s love through fellowship and service. All women are welcome—come enjoy breakfast, laughter, and meaningful time together!
